Zuri Technologies ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Zuri mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our App.

When you create an account, we collect:

Email address - For account creation and authentication
Password - Encrypted and stored securely
OAuth information - If you sign in with Google or Apple (email, profile picture)

1.2 Photos

When you use our AI hairstyle recommendation feature:

Uploaded photos - Stored temporarily (24 hours) to generate hairstyle recommendations
Generated images - AI-generated hairstyle images are stored until you delete them or they expire (24 hours for unsaved images)
Saved favorites - Images you save to favorites are stored permanently until you delete them

1.3 Usage Data

Device information - Device type, operating system version, app version
Crash reports - Error logs and crash data via Sentry (anonymized)
Usage statistics - App features used, generation count (anonymized)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for:

Service provision - To generate AI hairstyle recommendations
Account management - To create and manage your account
Communication - To send you service-related notifications
Improvement - To improve our AI models and app features
Support - To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
Security - To protect against fraud and abuse

3. Data Retention

Uploaded photos - Deleted after 24 hours unless saved to favorites
Generated images - Deleted after 24 hours unless saved to favorites
Saved favorites - Stored until you delete them
Account data - Stored until you delete your account
Crash reports - Retained for 90 days for debugging purposes

4. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Service providers - Cloud hosting (AWS/Google Cloud), crash reporting (Sentry), analytics (Mixpanel)
Legal compliance - If required by law or to protect our rights
Business transfers - In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Access - Request a copy of your personal data
Correction - Request correction of inaccurate data
Deletion - Request deletion of your account and data
Portability - Request export of your data in a portable format
Objection - Object to processing of your data
Withdraw consent - Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

Secure password hashing (bcrypt)

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at zuristylez@gmail.com and we will delete it.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws different from your country. By using our App, you consent to such transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

Updating the "Effective Date" at the top
Sending an email notification (for significant changes)

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
